Pure Youth
An e-commerce website for a skincare brand, with product pages, the brand story and a cart drawer.
Overview
Pure Youth is a skincare brand selling online. The website introduces the brand and its ingredients, presents each product, and lets people buy without leaving the page they are on.
My role
Product Designer. I designed the web pages and their layouts, defined the page structure, navigation and the flow from browsing to checkout, created visual content such as banners, product imagery and graphic assets, and worked with stakeholders and developers on the build.
Design approach
- Product first. The hero shows the whole range with one clear shop action.
- Explain, then sell. The brand story and the philosophy (hydration, anti-aging, brightening) sit between the hero and the product cards.
- Two choices per product. Each card offers learn more or buy, and trust icons (cruelty-free, for all skin types, high purity of ingredients) answer common doubts underneath.
- A cart that doesn’t interrupt. The cart opens as a drawer with quantities and a subtotal, so people can keep browsing or go to checkout.
- The packaging’s palette. Deep green and white, with a light serif wordmark, carry the brand’s look onto the site.
Key responsibilities
- Page structure, navigation and user flow
- Web page and UI layout design
- Banners, product imagery and graphic assets
